Earth Day Recycled Art Kids Event:  4/21/12

Please join us Saturday, April 21st from 11-2 pm as we celebrate Earth Day!  We are offering FREE kids art activities, cookies and beverages!  Kids will be able to do various art projects that revolve around using recycled and found objects!  Open to kids of all ages~it is a drop in event!

Docents needed:

We are currently gearing up for a busy summer season, and we are seeking Docents to volunteer to staff the gallery and help with various events!  Anyone who may be interested or if you have any questions-please give our President Mary Ellen Murphy a call at: 231-357-1543

Calling all Artists:

Again with the busy summer season coming up, this would be a perfect opportunity to get your artwork in the gallery!!  Any questions, or if you are interested please email us 

Plein-Air Outings starting June 10th:

Join our member artists Peter Balestrieri and Gary Juliano the 2nd Sunday of each month starting June 9th.  Artists will have an opportunity to travel to various local settings and paint on location!  After the sessions are completed in September, Parkside will have an artist reception to showcase the plein air works!  This is a FREE event.  Each artist is responsible for their own materials and transportation.  Registration is required.  To register or for further information please email us at

Grand Opening Artist Reception: May 18th 6-9

Please plan to join us for our GRAND OPENING and Artist Reception on
Friday, May 18th, from 6-9.  Each artist will be present, wine and hors d'oeuvres
will be served!!  Come and show support to your new local gallery, meet the artists and enjoy some wonderful locally created art. 

Parkside Arts Member Studio Tour:  July 15th 10-4

Visit our Member artists in their own studios, see where the creativity begins!!  Great opportunity to meet the artists and see what makes them tick, while enjoying the beautiful scenery around our area!   Tickets and more information will be coming soon.
